Measure and Optimise Environmental Performance Across Logistics Networks

Understand the environmental impacts of transport, warehousing, fulfilment and distribution activities. CarbonQuota helps logistics providers, carriers and network operators generate credible environmental intelligence that supports customers, reporting requirements and operational improvements.

Trusted by logistics providers, transport networks, distribution operators and fulfilment businesses.

Transport networks generate large volumes of disconnected data

Logistics businesses manage huge volumes of operational data across vehicles, warehouses, routes, fuel types and customers. As customer expectations and reporting requirements increase, organisations need more accurate ways to understand and communicate environmental performance. Manual calculations and disconnected systems often make this difficult and time consuming.

CarbonQuota converts operational logistics data into accurate environmental intelligence, helping organisations understand impacts, improve reporting and identify reduction opportunities.

Improve Operational Visibility:

Understand environmental performance across routes, facilities and customers.

Support Customer Reporting:

Provide accurate environmental information to customers and procurement teams.

Identify Reduction Opportunities:

Target operational hotspots and prioritise improvement initiatives.

Environmental intelligence at every level.

Product Environmental Footprints

Measure transport impacts at route, customer or network level.

Warehouse and Network Footprinting

Measure and manage impacts across warehousing and fulfilment operations

Customer and Route-Level Reporting

Deliver detailed environmental reporting for customers and procurement teams.

Delivered environmental intelligence across complex logistics operations.

A logistics provider needed a consistent methodology for measuring environmental impacts across transportation and fulfilment operations. CarbonQuota implemented a scalable measurement framework that improved reporting accuracy and provided greater visibility into operational impacts.

Improved reporting consistency; Faster access to environmental data; Better operational visibility; Increased customer confidence.

CarbonQuota provided the environmental intelligence needed to support both operational and commercial objectives.

FAQs

What does CarbonQuota “Carbon Reduced” mean?

Carbon Reduced is where a company can show sustained reductions in its carbon footprint over time – either its own operations, its supply chain or its products. This may be in absolute terms, or based on a reduction in carbon intensity.

What is a corporate carbon footprint and why is it important?

A Corporate Carbon Footprint quantifies the total greenhouse gas emissions associated with an organisation’s activities. It’s important because it gives businesses the data they need to take meaningful climate action, such as identifying the largest sources of emissions, setting reduction targets, and demonstrating progress to customers, investors, and regulators. As legislation and customer expectations tighten, understanding your carbon footprint is increasingly essential to remaining competitive and compliant.

What is sustainability?

A sustainable individual or organisation is one that doesn’t deplete nature or natural resources faster than they re-generate, doesn’t directly or indirectly destroy natural habitat, and doesn’t compromise the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. In this way, human civilisation can co-exist with nature.

How does CarbonQuota calculate the carbon footprint for a material?

CarbonQuota calculates the carbon footprint of a material by drawing on a combination of primary data from the supplier, industry-recognised emission factor databases, and lifecycle assessment (LCA) methodology. Where supplier-specific data is available, we use it to maximise accuracy. Even better if we can get data from the supplier’s supply chain. Where it isn’t, we apply robust secondary data sources using our models and expertise. Each material footprint is expressed in CO2e per unit (e.g. kg CO2e per kg of material) and accounts for the emissions generated through extraction, processing, and transportation to the point of use
